Why the lib-dems are shit

We all know what the lib dems are. But alot of the same people who get pissy about them probably supported a Corbyn led Labour Party, who if they ever gained power would have no choice but to be a sort of lib dems mark 2, due to how the system is. It's the system that's the fundamental problem.
Having analysed in detail John McDonnell’s economic ideas I disagree

LD are the only party to call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, prolly means nothing though
If the Lib Dems are calling for a ceasefire in Gaza now, does that mean that if they get to form a coalition government they'll have to end up arguing that Israel should be bombing Gaza three times as much as it is now?

I noticed some comment on Twitter in relation to the Post Office scandal about right-wingers ganging up on the Lib Dems and Ed Davey. What exactly have the Lib Dems behaved like as soon as they get a taste of power? Playing a full part in a government so far right that even Thatcher would drool over it.

Could be interesting
Couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke…

Ms Tracey made reference to another accused postmaster, saying: "Here, in [Sir Ed's] own constituency, the sub-postmaster at Tolworth Post Office lost his home, his business and attempted suicide on more than one occasion.
"He tried three times to get in touch with Sir Ed and every time he was turned away, refused or ignored."

It's not just publicity stunts that the LD fail at

Despite the collapse of the Tory vote there projected national vote share is down three pp from last year

The Liberal Democrats will be aiming for 24% - they never fell below this level of support on PNS between 1993 and 2010, and have never risen back to this level since. Getting back to around a quarter of projected national share would show they are returning to pre-Coalition levels of vitality in local government.
Here are the figures released by the BBC within the last few minutes, compared to the results from last year.
  • Labour: 34% (down 1 point)
  • Conservatives: 25% (down 1 point)
  • Lib Dems: 17% (down 3 points)
  • Others: 24% (up 5 points
And this is what Prof Sir John Curtice, the BBC’s lead elections analyst, told viewers a few minutes ago about the significance of the projected national share (PNS) figure he and his team have calculated. We were saying for much of the last 12, 18 hours that probably we were looking at an outcome, and a set of performances, pretty similar to last year, and it is pretty similar to last year.
.........
More disappointing, perhaps, for the Liberal Democrats, and perhaps rather more surprising, is that they’re down to 17%, which is three points down on last year. But it’s still pretty much in line with the kinds of figures they’ve been getting since the EU referendum.

Of course that is still too high and some more action is required to remove the yellow fools from the rest of society.

You feel they are encroaching on Count Binface's territory?

Arnold Craven is a brilliant name for a Tory candidate though, sounds Dickensian or something.

and someone should tell the Yorkshire candidate that Buxton is in Derbyshire. Their name should be Hegglethwaite or similar.
