Why do you want to shut down McDonalds?

Could murder a decent goat curry right now, but if I had one it would be tainted with memories of this thread.

I haven't seen any warning and I don't give a stuff in any case. I have offered generous explanations of my own on why I have been no "dick" and have offended no one. Just read my posts in this thread if you are in doubt. If you think returning grief to the sender is such an offence then I see no reason to "wind my neck in". Is there anything else you'd like to say?
You're now banned off this thread.

How much shit goes into them? Any real food?

Wowzers - a mummified Maccy-D, straight from the 90’s

That’s got to be worth money on eBay - you could heat it up in a microwave and literally taste the past!

You could do the exact same thing with a home-made burger. It's just a question of the right storage conditions.

Not sure where people get this idea that if some food item doesn't rot away into nothing, it's somehow "nOt rEaL fOoD". Some foods contain large amounts of natural preservatives such as sugar and salt, which have been used for thousands of years. Other foods can easily dry out and thus appear in photographs to be similar to when it was first made.

I believe that a similar kind of nonsense was posted and debunked before in this very thread. Could we please at least try to have better standards than the Facebook Boomers who get sucked into the QAnon cult?

Edited to add: It was in fact you who posted it before. Different headline, same story. Did you forget that it was debunked already?

Journalists never see that though. New local Sainsbury's to create 20 new jobs. They will be mostly part time and not a second though to the other shops around them that will end up closing.
The public gets what the public wants....

<feels nostalgic for the "lazy, lying journalist scum" section on Lee & Herring's old telly programme...>

:thumbs:A youngish 30 something colleague at work was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Much of his "food" came from Mac's. Since his diagnosis, Mac's was first to go out of the window and his numbers are steadily improving.
A numpty of a colleague last night said think of the money you are saving  think of his health and life he is saving

"McDonald's was criticised after Alonyal started giving away thousands of free meals to Israeli soldiers." - Mc's feeding soldiers :(

Oh, I wondered what McDonald's had to do with the Gaza war. Not enough to find out for myself. I'm not too fond of the fact I would happily live off their food even knowing how bad it is for me.

Change of management policy. Presumably they’ll now tell their restaurants to stop giving the IDF free burgers.
Perhaps..in the article it says "The company will be hoping that by taking the Israeli business back "in house" it can restore its reputation in the Middle East and meet its key sales targets once more."... i doubt thats going to make any difference unless they start whipping their staff or something
