Why Britain is greater than the States?

British people have travelled the world for a long time. It’s not new to them. Sun holidays in the Mediterranean has been popular for some time as more and more people can afford it.

Right, but surely you accept my point that US citizens and EU citizens who reside within the Schengen area both have a lot less need to get a passport because access to sun drenched beaches, epic ski resorts, and a heap of massive cities can all be achieved without the need for one.

The UK figure would no way be as high as 87% if they were in the EU/Schengen area.

I get your point but I still don’t think it would be as low as America. I don’t think it’s America’s fault, it’s the idea that America is the whole world in its framing.

For balance, right now I'm sitting in one of the most popular brewery tap bars in my city, co-run by an American. On the taps some of the best beer comes from a local independent where the head brewer is American, and the excellent local bottle shop nearby was also set up by an American.

I think it's in our interests that the US continues to drive its brightest and best over here.

More likely to hear "have a good one" these days. "Have a nice day" is very old fashioned now.
