Well you shouldn't have chosen such a daft name then, sorry.
I think it's very important that Tosserian and his ilk should not be allowed to derail this thread, which seems to me on the point of an important breakthrough.
Personally, I think Tosserian should be banned outright. He has clearly shown that his only purpose here is to spread his own brand of Tosserian chaos and disorder among us.
But I do not feel entitled to take such a drastic step unilaterally. So let us put it to the vote. Unless this post receives at least TEN "likes" by 4pm GMT, I shall recommend that Tosserian be banned--permabanned, without the slightest possibility of parole or redemption, now or ever.
Does that sound fair enough?

What has that got to do with anything? How you choose to celebrate (or not) Christmas (or other midwinter festival) is up to you, whether it's approved of where you are or not.
I don't have to be in Iceland to honour the genius loci, and you don't have to be in a country which officially recognises Christianity in order to celebrate Christmas, if you really want to.
Actually I did celebrate it, but not in any manner that Tosserian would recongize or understand. Rather than getting pissed for three days solid, in Tosserian style, I mostly played hobby-horse with a bunch of 2 year-olds.
And the genius loci is not specific to Iceland, unless you think they speak Latin there.
Now can we please get back to the main topic of thıs thread: Should Tosserian be banned for being a tedious old wanker or not?

Answering in reverse order.
1) Sweetie, if yossarian should be banned for that, then so should you.
2) What do you want for that, a man badge or half a mouldy peanut?
3) I didn't claim that the genius loci is specific to Iceland - really sweetie I sometimes despair of your reading ability. However it is one of the very few countries which officially recognises Paganism (and also, almost by definition, spirits of the place). I don't need to be somewhere like that in order to celebrate Yule.
