Why are more young men than older seeing feminism as a bad thing?

gig work is fine if you're a student or got something else as a sole income it sucks.

Porn really needs to be taught in school so boys understand it's about as realistic as call of duty is too war.

real people don't look like that or do sex like that and that's ok

same as you can't run around with 3 guns and a 1000 rounds of ammo and body armour well for not more than about 25metres before you want to throw up :D

Maybe it's not "weirdly paranoid shit" when you've actually had conversations about those situations with people who have been involved in it. Next time I want to talk to "(relatively) normal people", especially those who may or may not take drugs (for whatever reasons) I'll make sure to see you're not involved so I don't offend you with the topic.
I've seen this shit go from a complete non-issue to the main talking point for incels over the last few years, and the reality is as it ever was. Yes it happens, no it's not common, and when people on the internet tell you stories you'd do well to exercise a bit more common sense and a bit less credulity. Specifically the manosphere is very much not populated with the sort of "high value men" that would, in their theory, prompt dastardly women to commit to a lifetime event on the off chance of snagging them.

Generally it's worth looking at it (as far as you can) from the perspective of a real woman, rather than some comic-book rendition of one.

it would take an idiot to say no women ever manipulate or abuse men. That is a total side issue of the manosphere. Total whataboutary that is ridiculous. The odd sociopathic vindicative woman out to ruin her partner is really nto the same thign as a mass online movement infused within society. Women cutting condoms is not endemic lol.

one writer was saying we as humans inhabit different worlds: football worlds, rural worlds, city worlds, work worlds, community worlds. now we ahve google words, facebook worlds, reddit worlds. imagine the manosphere was your world, that your main interaction about life and meaning was being fed to you by a bunch of arsehole grifters? what and how people spend their time on line is not some comfy life style thing, a bit of fun, "engaging in free speach and democracy" "entertainment" etc, it's serious shit. "the social is the subject" and all that.

I have edited my last two comments as I seemed to have misunderstood what people were saying. I do apologize and hope that any of my previous comments will be not seen as offensive. If they are, I again am sorry for that, as I honestly didn't intend on any harm.

Came across an incel online who runs some kind of man's group in Tokyo. His FB page is open, so guess he's looking for disciples. Spouts a whole lot of crap about how men in Japan have become feminised, women's minds can be programmed, check your dates don't have Adam's apples, hypergamy and other nonsensical topics.

Amazing how some men buy into it all.

A lot of the time it doesn't seem to be about women so much as hyping a talking point for clout with other men, and the unifying subject just happens to be misogyny. Like the degree of departure from reality is close to talking about the wickedness of faerie folk.

Yes, it's actually a bit chilling how far people can get from any sort of reality. And these will all be self proffessed "Logic Bros", too. There's a sort of sacriliging the "rational" that actually leads them further away paradoxically from the actual truth of connection, sex, and relationships. those things cannot be described by some first cause that all else logically stems from.

Extract from the latest Invisible Women newsletter (bodged the quote formatting cos on fone):

First up, exciting new legislation has been introduced in the US that not only mandates for the first time that female crash test dummies should be included in the same number of tests as the default male dummy (Invisible Women readers may remember that the so-called female dummy doesn’t get tested in the drivers’ seat because we still live in the 1920s apparently). And on the subject of that so-called female car crash test dummy, (again, readers of IW will remember that this is actually just a scaled-down male dummy and for about the millionth time, women are not scaled-down men) this new legislation ALSO requires, again for the first time, that the female dummy be based on, you know, an actual female body.

Where will this woke madness end?
