My local Sainsbury’s did a well fired round loaf. That made epic cheese sandwiches. But nothing quite as good as a well fired crusty roll with bacon and egg.

I've never seen those and would have assumed they were just burnt had I not read this thread.

I've now got a real craving for a crusty roll. I wouldn't mind but I've just eaten one

Have a Butchers, Bakers, Candlestick maker, Fishmonger, Newsagent (who deliver) and post office within 5 minutes of the door. Tho the place does appear to be from an Enid Blyton novel.
