but like i already said, we think that making a big fuss about the fact that an old woman who was a very important politician 25 years ago is going to die of old age is really shite. i don't see what's to celebrate personally. she isn't even a presidential figure who has stayed in public life like bill clinton etc she's just a really old lady.
if she was given a state funeral then i would protest it myself if i had the opportunity but celebrating an old woman dying of old age is a bit of a hollow victory for 'the left'

I was a youngster when churchill died and can just about remember the funeral on tv i don,t believe that thatcher will get a state funeral.there was no half way house as far as she was concerned you either hated her or loved her i am among the first of those . I wonder how history will judge her In one hundred years time.Churchill is remembered but for the war he would have been judged more on the fact that he was typical tory with many a black mark against him

Seeing as my gran of a similar age suffers from dementia, I'd say it is more painful for the family rather than the sufferer. She probabley doesn't even know what time of day it is.
