I'm passionately anti drink driving. One killed a friend of mine, and another has a permanent disability due to someone who thought being pissed and driving was OK.

People who drink and drive, and people using mobile phones whilst driving. Both should be banned for life, and receive a minimum 12 month stretch in prison for a first offence, five years if you're caught again.

This is view from the 15th floor AirBnB in which we're staying in Bangkok.

The glow of busy light is a night market.

It smells strongly of Durian.

For weeks now my 6 year old has been looking forward to eating insects. This place gave him the opportunity. We gave him an over/under of 1 mouthful.

He didn't make over. But, to his credit, did take a mouthful, which is more than I would have done.

An attic find in the house clearance we are doing in Finland this week. Presumably some guns around here to go with these, which just creates a problem of how to safely dispose of them.

I’m already afraid to jiggle this box of bullets around in case they start popping like fireworks
