What's the Spartacist League up to these days?

Thought Wohlforth's memoirs were interesting, especially his account of dealing with Gerry Healy, but they didn't really answer the essential 'why the fuck?' question. (At least not in a way I could understand). Some of the case studies in the book on political cults he co-authored are also interesting IMO.
What do you mean by "why the fuck?" Do you mean "why did they join this group, and why did they split from it"? They joined this group as they thought it could change the world, like the Bolsheviks did. They split because they became convinced that the parent group was deviating from the correct path.

Anything in particular? The header has nicer graphic design than I would've expected.
The article about the continuity of Spartacism. All those years of pushing a particular line, and then it just being junked, just like that.

The LFI leaders stubbornly refuse to admit—at least publicly—that there was anything fundamentally wrong in the organization prior to their own exit and thus cannot account for earlier examples of the SL's degeneration (or, indeed, the deep bureaucratism of their own purge).

This is pretty much the story of every split from every longlasting organisation in existence.

I had a dream I bought a t-shirt that was like a recreation of the front cover of a Spartacist newspaper because I thought it'd be funny, and then realised I could never wear it anywhere because I'd look absolutely mental. I blame PTK for this. Don't look at urban75 immediately before bedtime, is probably a good lesson to take from this.

Weren't the few remaining Sparts fighting over disposal of the sect's assets? Did anything happen with that, does anyone (e.g., PTK) know?

I have just received an email from Workers Power. I had forgotten that I was on its email list. It is a long time since I heard from that group.

I got that mail too. They were semi regular until 2022, but they had seemed to have disappeared thereafter.

The lead article on the election seems rather familiar of most elections over the last 30+ years

I preferred Permanent Revolution, I think that's where Cockers went.
That was their heyday , the pre revolutionary situation , workers defence squads , the International Brigade for Iraq and the Jodi Marsh situation . There was also that member of theirs on here who got arrested for bringing drugs on some demo .

Don't forget the time I saw Cockers eating cold rice pudding out of a can after I tried to run him over with a golf cart. True story.

Why is there no more news on this front?
I want to be informed about the activities of the group to which I belonged forty years ago.

This is turn-up for the books, as they say.
The Sparts in the USA are backing the canidates of a party called the Party for Socialism and Liberation in the Presidential election.
Why they not sectarian any more?
