My Portuguese mate is coming round for dinner later so I thought I'd get some Portuguese wine in. I have been keeping an eye out for Portuguese wine for a while but haven't been able to find any until the other day when I saw it in Waitrose.
.

We also have a bottle of black label Western Gold bourbon from Lidl, but we shall go easy on that what with it being a school night an all..

I might have a sniff of the lychee liquer I bought. I reckon I could whizz up a pretty decent cocktail with it or make a lychee ice cream using it.

Magners. Not my drink of choice, but I've just discovered/remembered that the couple of bottles of Bishops Finger I thought I had I drank the other night
My mate who lives in the flat upstairs is curled up on his settee feeling ill, so I've pinched a couple of cans off him as he's not going to be drinking it tonight

I have got a bottle of that, but I'm going to use it for a mushroom and ale pie tomorrow

I love interesting liquers but hate lychees.

Although I think I hate them coz they are slimy and to me the perfumey flavour doesn't suit fruit.

I think maybe the flavour for alcohol could quite work.

I need to mix my spirits!! Water and whiskey/ brandy is fine (although i prefer ginger ale or cloves, lemon and Angostura bitters)
