Oh God, I drank gallons of scrumpy when I was at Uni in Bristol, the cloudy stuff they served in thick glass mugs in case it ate its way out. Some people actually put blackcurrant juice in it, looked like diluted blood. I still can't stand even the smell of cider ever since.

Aye, got quite hanted on it when I was doing courses at Warminster, thought it a odd when they replenished the barrels from a plastic fertiliser bag

Yep. The 3 for a fiver can't really be considered a good deal unless you're buying Westons with it. They are £2.40 each.

Nice for an after-tea, but I couldn't drink much of it. I like a chilled Fino or Manzanilla for non-food-related drinking.
