What's in your glass?

:D

how many beers now? or have you lost count, as is traditional on one's birthday :D

Believe it or not, I am only just about to embark on Beer No. 3. The night is young. And, I have been on the phone to rich!s mum for quite some time, which was a bit of an interruption, but I did get to hear several VERY interesting facts about rich! when he was a baby which may come in useful later.

Good god woman

that is some spacing out there. full marks to you.

#4, a light summer ale.

Dinner is in the oven, I'm very impressed at just how much cheese I managed to get on top of the mash. Shallow, wide, spaceship shaped lecrusets FTW. Pub straight after that.

Poppy tea, one sugar, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, ginger. Still tastes like shit no matter how you try and sweeten it. It's highly doubtful I'll give a fuck in half an hour or so, mind. :D

Still sober then maurice?

hard work?

Not really. I notice it most of an evening when transitioning from stressed commuting to being officially relaxed, something which I used to formalise by getting incapable with brutally efficient speed. And at work events a similar transition from meeting mode to pretend relaxation mode is marked with trays of booze, and opting out of the ritual seems odd. But it's not that it's tricky, just that it isn't as distant a memory as smoking is, where I don't notice any of the former cues at all.
