Change of plan! :D Pea night is to be Wednesday now, so me and the boy are having roast chicken thighs, mash  (taking advantage of the retching small girl being at their dads) and garden french beans and courgettes.

Fucking hell, I haven't had roast chicken and mash for years!

Yesterdays tea consisted of bread, crackers, a big gooey blob of Stinking Bishop, some proper strong Cheddar and my homemade apple and rhubarb chutney that's been maturing under my bed for the last 3 months. Perfect sunday tea. :)

Today will most likely be boring pasta.

Super-nom

I'm having yesterday's leftover barbecue food for tea :)

Cheese and tomato flat bread
Cooked in the oven then drizzled lightly with olive oil
Topped with peppered rocket, parma ham and shaved parmesan cheese

Small sirloin, new pots and a massive salad with lemon squeezed over and loads of black pepper :)

I do fancy QoG's though.

Chicken broth with loads of chunks of chicken and summer veggies in it and a hefty whack of garlic and coriander. It was yum, even if I say so myself.

Cup of coffee and a few garibaldis now.

Two smallish pork chops. Seared in hot oiled pan. Then cooked in a sauce made from onions (fried with the chops), carrots, peas, mustard, sage, thyme, and BEER. Eaten with some plain boiled basmati rice.

Ace!

It was food, and it was BEER, at the same time!

i also had pork chops - these were cooked with onions & chopped apple in chicken stock though, finished off with sour cream. it should have been cider instead of chicken stock, but i didn't have any... seemed to work fine either way. :)

After being poorly for the past week my appetite has thankfully returned so going to treat my battered body to a veg ratatouille. Will prob serve it with cous cous and crusty bread.

Right, as I am absolutely knackered, we are just going to have hot dogs and boiled onions, with jalapeno relish, and then mint tea and cadbury's caramel for afters

mmmmm, cadbury's caramel (yes, I did fancy the female rabbit :D)

Bloke is cooking some sausages for him and the boy and I'm hoping they'll leave me a couple.
I think I'll do some couscous to go with mine, with mushroom and courgettes and lots of herbs.

Chilli con carne and jacket spuds....

Although i fear it may have turned out a bit too hot for Moonpig, how to cool it down??
