Is the question "Name slogans not likely to be used by the Kidney Marketing Board?"

:D

LOL!

They don't smell like pee* if you soak them in milk overnight first.

*As much.

I'm not especially fond of them, but every so often I'll pick up a steak and kidney pie from the Scots bakery if I'm in the city. And my partner had lamb kidneys on skewers at a posh place once that were so good I wished I'd ordered them myself. Other than that, don't like 'em.

i had 3 mayfair light, 2 funsize packs of malteasers and a can of pepsi max. not the most balanced or satsfiying meal i grant you

tonight is a pepperoni pizza & beans before we descend to the pub

and no doubt end up having a chip butty there :D

Black bean chilli over the top of some jersey royals, with some creme fraiche AND some grated cheddar and some plot mange tout on the side.

Mmmm, last night was barley risotto with roasted butternut squash, pumpkin seeds and rocket…. It were loverly…

Tonight will be some kind of broccoli soup, salad and home-made bread….

I've got some chicken thighs marinating in yakitori sauce in the fridge. We'll have that wil either rice or noodlesand veg.

Not sure

Have eggs that need using though....SO...it's either a carbonara (inspired by liamprestons post yesterday - how did it go liam?) made with some smoked pancetta I was gonna use for a chunky chickpea soup....OR...a simple cheese omelette with a tomato salad and baked spuds

I think I just talked myself into a carbonara :licks lips:

Chilli with jacket potatoes. The best bit is the chilli is from the freezer so I have to do fuck all.

no idea. something quick as i have to sit at my desk for three hours staring blankly into the back garden as i fail to write my essay and then go to the pub for bees' birthday at 9.

that sounds sooo wrong

Why? It's nice on a warm June day, and easy as heck to whip up in the processor: yoghurt, berries, pinch of fresh mint and a splash of Kirsh. Top with a blob of creme fraiche and a few strawberry slices, and there ya are.

If it's the cold soup thing that's "wrong", you're gonna hate me all summer. :D

Last time I served this soup my brother-in-law said it was the first time he'd ever eaten a smoothie with a spoon. One of the nephews remembered that occasion and actually requested it when he saw I'd picked some early strawberries this morning.

You've never had cold sour cherry soup with red wine and Kirsh in it? Now THAT'S a cold soup, "fruit" or no fruit.

Lamb stew, from an Anthony Worrall Tory recipe I got from the BBC site: lamb, potato, peas, carrot and onion. I had it with some crusty bread. Really, really nice.
