Yay!!!!!!!!!

Hurrah for the breakfast bar!!!!!!!!!

I cleaned all my cupboards out too, paying special attention to the coffee thingy ;) ...I gotta wait till the 11th for it to be delivered though.

Fancy a cup of tea, served at a normal height table moomoo? :(

I don't know, I hate not knowing. It's fucking up my argument for getting rid of the microwave too because everytime I leave it until the evening to decide and have to defrost something he say's 'see, we do use the microwave'.

we're thinking of getting our microwave back again  mainly for 3 reasons - tempering chocolate for me to make proper chocolate and truffles, softening butter (in the winter our kitchen is colder than the fridge so trying to soften it is a nightmare) and for bees to have those microwave chicago town pizzas  :D

They are good pizzas. Our main usage is hiding food from the cat beasts.

Either chicken in a cuntry french sauce with rice, or a chicken curry using a kohinoor haryali methi malai sauce. with rice.

Fondue...

:D

I know my recipe involves beef marrowbone, which can be tricky to get hold of. I suggest you just slowly fry some onions in butter until they're golden but not burnt, add a tin of beef consomme, grate in some gruyere, simmer for 10 minutes, then put some slices of french bread on top, grate over more gruyere and put it under the grill until the cheese has melted. Job done

Some very thin steaks (they were reduced so I thought I might as well), with pasta and hmemade pesto and mange tout off the plot.

And plot strawberries (with yoghurt) for pud!

No wine?

Oh, I just remembered: brandy! Just a little bit. You could add wine if you wanted too. Add whatever you like! Go crazy!

Brandy!! I bet that's good. As it's unlikely I'll get any marrow (or rather, unlikely I'll be bothered to go looking for it) I'll make Delia's.

Raw offal. Not even nice offal. Brains and lungs and shit. Am in a bad mood so am making today as horrible as possible so that no matter how bad tomorrow is, it cant be as bad as today.

Something from the freezer which I think is Kheema lamb but I'm not 100% sure so that will be exciting.

Brains are great! But I don't believe you when you say you're eating lungs. I think you're shitting us

Not sure if this experiment will work, but an experiment it is. Fry off some chorizo and salami and the like, with some smoked bacon, add some cream, add some garlic, serve with pasta.

In my head, it sounds like it could work. My flatmates may not be so impressed by the practical...

that's basically a carbonara, isn't it? so it should work nicely :)

Well, probably not. I'm just gonna ask the butcher for something thats brown, old and stinks of piss. Then I'm gonna boil it and eat it. Neat
