If I was local to you, I'd go. I love chilli vegetable ramen :(

Anyway, I'm not really sad cos the boy is getting us takeaway curry  From a new place though, so wish me luck!

Well I ended up with a glorious mess of chops, fried spuds and lardons from Lidl all mixed up with a sort of gravy made with white wine, lemon juice and mint

Roasted winter root veg, onion gravy, french beans with sesame seeds. Fresh pineapple with coconut ice cream.

I went to ikea tonight and had a veggie hot dog and some ginger thin biscuits and salted crips from the taster baskets they put out in the shop...:)

tonight i am having fish ( steamed or maybe poached) with tenderstem brocolli, rice and a side salad. i am looking foward to it muchly :)

I've got some sausages and half a pack of puff pastry that need using up so it's homemade sausage rolls and chips tonight.

(((((my arteries)))))

(((((my fat arse)))))

You went for the Lidl lardons! Yay!

Last night was canapes at the office sort-of-Christmas party. They were nice actually - mini hamburgers, pizzas, duck rolls etc.

Tonight I am going out to the local gastropub for a friend's birthday.

((hug)) for may and her ongoing lack of reliable deliverable curry :(

Tonight I cook a roast dinner for me, the boy and his best friend. There will be t types of meat, veg, and heaps of roast potatoes (just to make sure there's enough left over for a bubble brunch tomorrow)

Heh, it's probably good for the wallet/waistline in the long run :) Just need to get the kitchen light fixed so I can start cooking in the evenings again!

ooooo macaroni cheese! nom nom nom!

am trying to have a healthy day today but i've just eaten a big handful of rice crackers and nuts. and breakfast was pitta bread with fatty caloric dip  . and a bottle of lucozade energy. and a can of diet coke. skipping lunch to have an early tea me thinks

oops :D

My mum's here so as usual we've had a big lunch rather than a dinner....made a huge leek and potato soup, which had a bit of pancetta in too, with some hot buttered bread.

Gonna have belgian waffles with maple syrup and ice cream in a bit.

Kids'll probably have a sausage roll each later, warmed in the oven first (I find the bog standard shop bought ones always taste slightly less rank that way :D - they're fucking gross cold).

If we're hungry I'm gonna make a warm salad thing with some chickpeas, red onion, chilli, tomatoes, coriander and have that with the tin of very posh tuna I got in my stocking :D (Ventresca yellowfin tuna fillets) with a lemon/olive oil dressing.

I don't think any of that is particularly unhealthy

i'm planning on doing chicken fajitas this evening, but i dunno if i'll get time between the missus and PieFace finish making their marmalade and the missus going off out partying.

Spicy wedges with chilli baked beans, some mature cheddar melted on the wedges and maybe some bacon bits lobbed in. Pure comfort food!
