Errrrr....no! Which you occasionally eat over a couple of days more like! :p :D

I had no choice but to go with taco bell, 1 burritoe supreme, 2 spicy chix soft tacos and 2 hard taco supremes

Got anything left of that, for instance? ;)

You have two dinners a night, without fail.

As if! You post on this thread every day about what take-out you're getting. You can kid yourself, but you can't kid us. :p

That's a whole lotta chicken.

We finally got around to having those fishcakes, mash and veg. It was pretty nice. The fridge is full of Green & Blacks sent to Mr K by his cousin, so there's been a fair bit of chocolate abuse going on as well.

I'm still off the booze  Don't seem to have much of a taste for it at the moment.

I had a totally wicked dinner cooked by my in-laws. Roast chicken with stuffing, roast parsnip and potatoes, carrots and peas, and leeks in cheese sauce.

Tomorrow, I go to the BBC Good Food Show!

Hooray! I'm glad you had someone cooking for you, after all your late nights and thin dinners :)

depends on what i get and how much, innit? sometimes theres leftovers and sometimes theres not

Tonight we're having an Indian feast - mini samosas and bhajis, poppadums, sizzling spicy prawns and chickpea and swiss chard curry. I'm also going to cook up a chorizo, pork and bean stew for reheating next week when I'm knackered, and a parsnip and carrot soup for lunches.

Last night was pasta with leeks, smoked trout and cream.

^^ that all sounds divine

I'm gonna make another huge vat of soup, and then my freezer will be full to the brim :D

Carrot and lentil soup it'll be, the girls can have some of that, and I've gotta use up the pancetta and shallots, so it'll be penne rigate with that, beans, and rosemary and toms. yum

We have strawberry cheesecake too

I was thinking the same thing.

I can't work out if it's because this is a common early indicator of pregnancy or if it's just that the idea of me going off booze is so unbelievable :D

Anyway, my diary says I won't be able to test for another week  which means I shall have to distract myself by doing lots of baking and intricate cookery. Plus, it's pissing down outside, which instantly equals peaceful indoor time. To mark this, I am wearing pyjama trousers as part of today's ensemble :D

For tea tonight, hmmm, think it'll be gaijingirl's butternut squash and barley stew. Been meaning to try this out for ages, and such a grim day outside is just the ticket!

Hmmm, I went off alcohol in early pregnancy and things I previously liked started tasting funny.............

Anyway, we are having lamb chops, mashed potatoes, carrots, brocolli and peas with gravy and mint sauce.

We have an obscenely large piece of pig in the oven doing its crackling thing.

In the freezer we have Skim's aka Nigel Slater's ;) mascarpone and lime sorbet that I prepared earlier.

gergl and Dairy are peeling potatoes, carrots, turnips (we also have peas, beans and brokkoli to steam later) and making Yorkshire pudding batter.

Bluey and meems are doing the wine shopping.

last night i was taken to dinner by bees before offline and it was lovely :)

tonight I don't know, I'm already in bed and bees is working, if he doesn't finish soon and actually cook tea like he offered it will be takeaway

last night I was taken to dinner by a mate. it was nice :)

tonight - chip bap, chicken patty and a pickled egg. Some day I'll stick to the healthy eating and mean it

My mates arrived for a lunchtime pint and said "there you go"
The end of a roast belly of pork and a plastic container with Jersey Royal mash with cream and a crusty cheese top to it.
Delish:)

you're MAKING something???
i'm actually quite a good cook but I have an extremely stressful job and don't have much time to cook. In the old days i used to cook 2 or 3 times per week but now its more like once or twice per month. :)

and plus I live alone so its hard to cook for only one

i would also put my cooking skills up against almost anyone :D

Are all the takeaways shut? Has there been a major fire in your area? Are you flooded or snowed in?
