Sweet mash (spud, parsnip, carrot, apple) with minty lamb, onion and red wine gravy, cabbage.

For the Boy.

us vegetarian adults had a pot noodle each.

I did a quite tasty 'n easy hands-off-fuck-off-for-an-hour-and-do-nowt-oven-dish thingy. Lined the bottom of a casserole dish with cherry tomatoes, chopped garlic, sliced chillis and fresh basil, put a couple of chicken thighs on top, drizzled the lot with olive oil and some cracked peppercorns and plonked it in the oven for an hour.

We went to Pizza Hut. :D

*cries with jealousy*

It has one year, one month and 15 days since I last had a Pizza Hut pizza. I LOVE them. I love them more than home-made specialist gourmet pizza. I love them more than caviar and chapagne.

But they're so unbelievably bad for you, I can never justify having one. :(

i hope moomoo doesn't see my empty fridge picture on that other thread  :D

runs and hides

It's a Sunday roast for me. Roast chicken, pots and carrots with sprouts and peas.

I'm also pickling onions! Put them in the brine today.

I just happen to have a big bag of cherry tomatoes in th efridge. Think I'll do this tomorrow :)

Tonight is roast chicken, roast spuds, peas, leeks and gravy, cooked by my flatmate. It smells fantastic. The chicken is covered with butter, thyme, lemon zest and bacon. Not had a homemade roast for ages. Am bloody starving...

tonight not sure, was thinking curry but bees isnt hungry enough seemingly, so it might be tortilla chips, with melted cheese and chilli on top

If I can be arsed, I'll probably also make a veg curry for the week's lunches later inspired by Soj. I've got aubergine, spinach, tin of tomatoes, peppers and a can of chickpeas.

Oh dear :(

How bad exactly? Will I die within half an hour? Or put on 6 stone overnight? :p

You'll definitely put on at least 6 stone. Especially if you had cheese in the crust.

I can't wait until I've got kids and they beg me to go to Pizza Hut. Then I'll have to go. It's almost a good enough reason to procreate this instant.

Oo oo - my lovely daughter is making pizza and oven chips. Which I'm gonna scoff with pickled chillis, rarrr...good hangover food!

I really want a roast dinner but no-one to share it with this evening so I thinks it's gonna be Sainsbury Be Good To Yourself spinach and ricotta lasagne with homemade potato wedges and salad. I have already had a big bowl of homemade red pepper and lentil soup and earlier I baked ginger cupcakes and managed to save 1 for me !

Oh yes! They made me do it!

Oh my giddy aunt, that was the tastiest meal I've eaten in bloody ages. Mmmmm lemony thymey chicken. Mmmm, crispy roast spuds. Mmmmm buttery leeks :) :) :)

Any suggestions for what I could/should do with a big bowl of chicken fat?

Bezzer came round and we went the whole hog and had roast chicken, roast tatos and parsnips, homemade yorkshires, my mums delicious chrimbo stuffing (chicken livers/mortadella/prosciutto/red pepper/almonds/basil/black olives/mushrooms/garlic/shallots/anchovies/breadcrumbs and eggs and olive oil to bind - fucking lush  ), sprouts, peas, gravy and bread sauce....followed some time later by belgian waffles with maple syrup and extra thick double cream....... :D .......<pops>

Didn't have any breakfast and haven't had anything since, except a second portion of the left over stuffing (which is as good cold as it is hot), but am still stuffed - which goes someway to showing just how much we ate!

I had a really nice rogan josh with naan and a few newky brown's.followed by spliffage :)

It's weird now I know what a few of you look like and sound like :D

Homemade fish and chips tonight with squashed peas. :)
