Tuna lasagna (or is it lasagne? I never know ) with salad and maybe garlic bread depending on how hungry everyone is :)

We're supposed to be having sausages and baked potatoes and then going up to the pub to watch fireworks and wave sparklers and say ooooh and ahhh and dodge the bits of cheap firework as they explode sideways.

However, as I am still in my pyjamas and can't seem to get on with fuck all today those plans may be subject to change.

A chicken leg, sprouts with bacon and chestnuts and a bit of sweet potato bubble from yesterday's roast. I lurve roast dinner leftovers on a Monday

I have some left over Thai that I could have but I feel like something else tonite. We'll see....

I've just bought some very nice and rather pricey steak and ale sausages from the butcher in Blackheath, so I'll be having them, probably with some rice and mixed veggies.

My baked pasta and meatballs dish - the same as I had on Friday actually (made new this evening though) as the boy didn't have any. Will have to remember more seasoning this time as the low fat pork mince meatballs I made were pretty bland on friday.

Think I shall do the roast dinner I failed to produce yesterday.

When I got back last night I was presented with a full roast beef dinner

When he's good he's very very good....

:D

We were gonna have roast chicken yesterday but neither of us could be chuffed to go and buy a chicken. Tonight's tea might be chip shop fish and chips rather than homemade :( I'd just like things to settle down a bit so I can have a week of proper lazy evenings with home cooked meals.

About bloody time and all! :D

:D

He's always been able to cook. He was a fisherman for years, they can all cook. He forgets how long I've known him I think

I've made up a nice batch of leek and potato soup with some chicken stock made from the chicken we had yesterday - which I'll add some of the leftover chicken too aswell - and we'll have it with some big wedges of crusty white bread and cheese.

Of course none of you saw fit to point out the fatal flaw in my plan. I don't bloody like sausages do I?

I've got sauteed red cabbage and apples in cider vinegar instead :)

Roast Lamb, roast spuds, carrots, sweetcorn, greens. Special cakes for pudding.
