My mother's making pasties so that sorts everyone else out. I don't know what to have though - I have some sweetcorn left over from last night's pork stew (nice enough but nothing to write home about) so maybe I'll have sweetcorn fritters. I don't know what to have with them. I really fancy an oven baked jacket spud but I can't afford to put the oven on just for that.

I've got to go shopping so I think I might get some lamb shanks and do them slowly in a tomato/onion/garlic sauce and make some sweet potato mash and veg.

Our dinner is in the oven on a low, low heat, might need to make some adjustments to the tomato sauce later as it doesn't taste quite right for some reason.

My best mate is coming round so we are having mushroom tart, new potatoes and roasted veg and lots of wine. And possibly chocolate-she never goes anywhere without chocolate.

so last nite i ended up having to go over to Teresa's friends house to help fix her wireless router setup. Her friend ordered some nice deep dish pizza for the three of us with pepperoni, ham, onions and mushrooms, .... it was great.

thick gooey cheese and lots of toppings, mmmm

hey look, i'm eating MUCH better now i'm with me new girl. she's really fit and eats very healthy and is forcing me to do the same.

dunno. should have gone food shopping before work. then got sent home ill from work. tesco delivery coming tmw morning so tonight will be whatever randoms i can find in the freezer the kids had a cupboard tea- cheese on toast with spagetti hoops, with brocolli,carrots and sweetcorn. which is what i want, but saving remaining bread for toast for everyone for breakfast.
