What stupid shit has Trump done today?

Interesting that the Oath Keeper's legal defence against sedition charges is

"He nonetheless hopes to convince jurors that the pro-Trump, anti-government group had two lawful — and non-seditious — reasons to be at the Capitol on January 6.

Reason one: They were an invited security force for rally planners and participants, including Roger Stone, Ali Alexander, Latinos for Trump, and Virginia Women for Trump.

Reason two: They were awaiting Trump's orders"

The Secret Service has been a rogue agency for quite a while. There's been several scandals with them including agents who partied with prostitutes, agents who hung out with women later determined to be foreign agents, agents who have been arrested in child predator stings, sexting with minors, drinking on the job, etc. Drinking and hiring prostitutes just seems to be a day on the job for them.

Another incident with an apparently drunk agent:

A person familiar with the situation told CBS News the off-duty agent was leaving dinner with a group of colleagues when there was some sort of collision with a woman on the street. The woman alleged she was struck in some fashion by the agent and called police, the source said. Police felt compelled to take the agent into custody, but later released him after questioning, according to the source. Investigators are looking into whether the agent was intoxicated at the time of the encounter, this person said. ....

It's also not the first time a Secret Service agent has been sent back to the U.S. ahead of a presidential trip overseas. In May, two Secret Service employees were sent home from Seoul, South Korea, and placed on administrative leave following an off-duty incident in which one of members got into a physical "altercation" with a local taxi driver.

"We were just waiting to be appointed as the President's Brownshirts" is certainly an... interesting line of defence.

Tbf. He wasn't being entirely paranoid..from what I saw..but maybe there was a lesson in getting corporate media to do your thinking for you.

It also, to me, looked like the US Marine Corps did their level best to accommodate him...(Marine 1 turbine whine always gave him some thinking space (apart from that one time it was grounded due to reasonable flying weather (the corps is the corps). But is he really saying the likes of Bob Meuller work for GCHQ?

Trump has been complaining that the illegally kept highly confidential documents found in his house were not all over the floor like they are in the evidence photos when the FBI found them. They were neatly put away in boxes! How dare they try to make Donald J Trump look untidy!

He and his supporters have repeated this acknowledgement that these documents were in his home as well.

So if he's re-elected in 2024, he's planning to pardon all those convicted in relation to January 6th.

This is only going to appeal to those who'd vote for him anyway
