Kim Dotcom and Russia (maybe the same thing) are suggesting all countries and investors dump USD reserves, citing mounting US debt as the reason, then claiming the currency will be defunct (along with the US economy) in the near future.
As you might very well be aware, the US debt problem is held at bay by the petrodollar, and that's lost a lot of ground to BRICS over the last few years. Even Saudi, the place the petrodollar was first used, is doing more BRICS oil trade with China that it does with the US.
Russia is reported to be dumping US bonds at the moment, and it looks like they're trying to trigger a rush.
As Trump is playing this game as if he's working for the Russians, one has to wonder what they have on him.
