What are you having for breakfast?

We had a MASSIVE breakfast in a cafe. 2 sausage, 2 bacon, beans, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, black pudding, tomatoes, fried potatoes, toast and a pot of tea. There was SO MUCH. It was proper too - proper nice sausages and bacon, eggs with orange yolks, doorstep toast. I might never be hungry again.

2 toasted crumpets with strawberry jam. Large slice of melon...had to change my blouse, when I bit into it I ended up with icy cold melon juice all over me...it was quite refreshing, if not a little sticky! :D

You know egg yolk colour depends on what the hen is fed which can be natural or can include artificial food colourings - orange yolks are not an indicator of quality at all (the orange yolk thing seems to be the modern day equivalent of when there was a popular but untrue notion that brown eggs were better for you than white, no that is just down to the pigmentation in the hens and also not an indicator of quality, yolk colour is determined by what hens are fed and good and bad food can cause orange yolks - often if hens forage naturally their yolks will be pale).

I am glad you had a good breakfast however :)
