You cant get good paté in Portugal its always rubbish and/or got dairy in it (which I dont eat).

I had:
Two scallops with the roes on, cooked in butter with salt and loads of cracked pepper
Two frilly fried eggs, seasoned as they cooked
Parma ham flashed briefly in the peppery scallopy butter to make it just a little less floppy with
Two asparagus spears also cooked in the now well-seasoned scallop butter and
Spinach wilted in the same pan while I assembled my plate, and all dressed with
Lemon juice and lemon zest and the pan juices

And black coffee from Mozambique

I have been experimenting with my hob and found that putting the eggs in cold water on the hob on full power, the eggs will still just be runny after exactly 10 minutes.
