That's a mango and ginger loaf on the left. Lol.

Baked due to finding a packet of slightly manky dried mango in my pocket, at about the same time as my eye alighted on a long-unused packet of glacé ginger.

To my amazement, it's pretty bloody good. (I spent much of last night wondering wtf was brewing in the fridge).

The one on the right is, yeah, ok. 50% spelt pumpkin seed & malted wheat. Decent enough light wholemeal. Slashes not very pretty!

Edit: and the only thing keeping me from bed is the last two sourdough ciabattas from a run of six.

Made some sushies for my wife's birthday. Did some inside out ones for the first time.
Also for the first time I did the rice perfectly and followed the proper instructions for seasoning the sushi rice.
Adding reduced mirin and rice wine vinegar after cooling on a wooden block. Made a difference I think. It really tasted like the real deal.
