West Ham United. 2019-20

Not as bad a score as I had expected and we apparently played well. But thats meaningless unless we go and beat Southampton on Saturday now. Hopefully Bowen will get a start.

I am a bit fed up of hearing commentators on the radio claiming that all the unhappiness about the board and the stadium and all the underlying rubbish is now instantly forgotten by us fickle moany gits, just because we have won for a change.
We are still very much in the shit on and off the pitch.

Arsenal fan visiting in peace. You were incredibly unlucky not to get something out of that game -and we were very, very lucky to get anything out of it. The better team lost

I don't agree. Arsenal had far more possession though had the usual reluctance to shoot. Particularly in the first half West Ham hardly touched the ball.

Yes, but that was Moyes' plan. He doesn't want us touching the ball, and we're relaxed about Arsenal having loads of possession since they don't do anything with it. We still had far more chances to score. Possession is over-rated.

That's cunning. If you don't have the ball, you can't lose the ball

Heard that the Hammers are looking at Phil Jones from Utd for around £12m. Good bit of business that.

I would like to cancel the season coz it will be funny for Liverpool but on the other hand, we'll be stuck with Moyes for a whole season. Will he still get his non-relegation bonus?

I don't think its really fair on the players to try and finish the season. They won't be match fit by the time they try it, and then it will roll straight into 2020-21 season start, and then Euro 2021 next summer. And 21-22 season will be screwy with the World Cup in Nov/Dec 2022. They wont get a proper break until summer 2023.

I'm OK with Moyes still being there. I think there were signs that the team was getting better towards the end. But yeah i have no idea how it will end up being sorted out. Liverpool is one thing but CL places, relegation and promotion - loads of potential lawsuits. Sheff Utd will be rolling out Sean Bean again to lead the march of the doyles.

I suppose we're back in action.
Whats happened in the meantime....Ngakia has flounced off for more money...um, that's it.

Hopefully Liverpool will get the title sorted out quickly and we can settle down to watch our exciting relegation struggle, with every game live on TV for the country to laugh at us.
Starting on the 20th, Wolves (h), Spurs (a), Chelsea (h). I don't see us getting much from that. Maybe a point against Wolves.

Has Ngakia actually left? I haven't paid any attention over the past few months. Football seems completely ridiculous. I'm sure that will change once we're back in the swing of it.

The good news , as a Chelsea supporter , is that West Ham are linked with Batshuayi
