West Ham 2022-23: The Road to Prague

Done well leveraging up the price . I’m not sure if City actually wanted him or just wanted to bump up the Arsenal offer .
Yeah doesn't really matter cos we'll spend half of it on some striker that Moyes never plays, and Sullivan will spend the rest on crystal panthers and women half his age and twice his height - but it's a decent price I guess.

Good player . With hindsight we shouldn’t have let him go but there’s been a few we’ve let go / who have asked to who were destined for great things but haven’t fulfilled their promise.

Finally gone then. Thought that Arsenal didn't have the money there for a bit. Could do without the open letters and the video about him becoming a man tbh.

Looking forward to the pile of absolute tut we get in to replace him.

Just remember the quality we got to replace Rio back in 2000

Then Lampard left in June 2001 for £11m. So £30m revenue and James, Dailly, and Repka were the only ones who weren't a complete washout.

I was going to wait for a new signing before starting a 23/24 thread but that might be too late. Also, theres not exactly a great sense of enthusiasm around the club at the moment. Its like everyone has got their medal and just wants to fuck off now.

We should go for Mbappe and Neymar from PSG. Neymar is mates with Paqueta and Mbappe would be a nice upgrade on Antonio.

Front 6 of:
Benrahama Mbappe Bowen
Paqueta Neymar Alvarez

Hard to keep up but from what i can see this morning, Paqueta might be off to Man City, Maguire and JWP deals "agreed in principle".

We're going full Brexit.

We're doing the classic thing where the big teams buy all your best players, but we didn't come 7th,we came 14th.

This is exactly why the cup was so important, cos this shit is fucking depressing.

To be fair JWP at £30m, at 28 years old, is an absolute steal in today's (admittedly ludricous) market. If Slabhead scored double figures from his dead ball deliveries, you could just put him (Maguire) up top and keep him as far away from your goal as possble!:D

We've decided to be really really good at set pieces. Classic moyes.

Id quite like McTominay, just cos he looks like a fucking bully. Like he'd push your head down a toilet while nicking your dinner money. I think we need somebody like that.

Has he signed for West ham? It's baffling that he's managed to play in the premier league and at international level. I think he's haphazard, hot headed and a really shit version of John Terry who's willing to take a kick in the face.
