fuck offSo, we have established that the real world is actually not perfect, that it is OK to be on the same side as openly xenophobic people if we benefit and that as long as we vote based entirely on our personal political views good stuff will just happen. No need to try and be practical and get the best result for everyone.
The same capacity for denial that allowed people to side with Farrage seems to be working for those that can't see Boris as PM, millions of disaffected bigots, more austerity, trade deals made in desperation and a potential lack of viable opposition.
If anyone has an alternative vision I would love to hear it?
Oh, and this is still true
If you support a cause, and your instinctive response to widespread complaints that many within that cause are circulating racistideas is not, 'We'd better get those racist ideas and the people who hold them the hell away from our cause, or they'll make us look like a bunch of racists,' but, 'Stop trying to undermine our good and just cause with your spurious accusations; we'll tell you what isand isn't racist'... you are an apologist for racism.
AnjuDo you think maybe you might have misread other things as well, and acted unfairly towards people based on those misreading?
Your words at the beginning are: "Leave voters... You knew you were colluding with racists".
Collusion means conspiring, plotting, actively supporting. You are typing over emotionally without thinking or you are being disingenuous about how utterly and abhorrently offensive a thing this is to say.
Calm down for just a moment, think about 52% of the people you know. You are simply wrong to denigrate so many people without cause. Say what you like about Farage, say what you like about the ugly fascist groups and people actually being racist because that is justified and they deserve our hate. Your attack on all leave voters here however is not justified.
Good to see you've been keeping up with debates hereI don't really know any leave voters as far as I am aware. Was there a campaign to get rid of those people. Was there even much fuss here?
Good to see you've been keeping up with debates here
How fortunate we are to have your undivided attentionWas there a thread here about separating the campaign? I don't normally have this much time.
Might as well stick this here. The famous anti-racist David Cameron and the EU had agreed to a deal that would have smashed up both in and out of work benefits for EU migrants, probaly resulting in many people having to return to their country of origin in the event of a Remain vote. That's now off the cards due to Brexit: Brexit vote forces Cameron into EU benefits U-turn
Yes you did.Not sure if that was for me. I don't agree with but I also didn't vote for Cameron.
Yes you did.
Quality garden path this.Better than voting for Boris and Nigel.
Better than voting for Boris and Nigel.
Yeh tell yourself voting for really forcing people to commit suicide because of benefit sanctions and cuts is better than voting for potential suicides from the same causeBetter than voting for Boris and Nigel.
I'm sorry that people in your family have suffered racist abuse since the leave vote, nobody should be abused like that.(or in anyway) You're obviously looking to foist the blame onto someone. That's not going to work here. Racism is not allowed here, so you rarely find any racists here, they don't last very long when they show up.
The pound will recover, it's just a little bounce. Smoke and mirrors to make us all think that the wrong decision has been made.
different faces of the sme coin. It doesn't matter whos ugly mug is being carted around for the masses, wether it's labour or the cons, life will be the same. (shit)Better than voting for Boris and Nigel.

Reread your postAnyone who did not see what is about to come must be a little disconnected from reality. I still see nobody here has come up with an answer to what will happen next?
What, exactly, is the chronology of this? Do it post by post.Don't see the difference between your accusing me of voting for Cameron and me pointing out that you voted for Boris and Nigel.
Boris won't be in charge for long. He'll get stuck in a cupboard or something. (or a general election will be called and the Tories will be out) UKIP won't get in, Farage will be moist in anticipation but there's no way he'll ever run the country. These rush deals are a part of the smoke and mirrors bullshit that I've mentioned a few times before. Give it a year or so, shit will settle down, Vodophone and the like will have fucked off, paying us back BILLIONS in owed tax money, homegrown businesses will have taken their places and will be paying their staff better wages. It's going to be ok.
Think people are voting with their feet as regards you and your thread (Oh shit, violence again)Still only one person who has anything constructive to say about the end result of throwing your lot in with the most extreme right mainstream party. No offence
What, exactly, is the chronology of this? Do it post by post.
That's right. So do it. What do you find?I'm not all that used to posting online but I believe you start at 1 then 2.........
Was hoping to see that thread distancing the leave campaign from racist rhetoric. Honestly, as I need my faith in humanity restored.
