Calm down for just a moment, think about 52% of the people you know. You are simply wrong to denigrate so many people without cause. Say what you like about Farage, say what you like about the ugly fascist groups and people actually being racist because that is justified and they deserve our hate. I don't really know any leave voters as far as I am aware. Was there a campaign to get rid of those people. Was there even much fuss here?

You are wasting your time with the other insults. My family have already suffered racial abuse, and reducing state pension due to the fall in the pound.
 
I'm sorry that people in your family have suffered racist abuse since the leave vote, nobody should be abused like that.(or in anyway) You're obviously looking to foist the blame onto someone. That's not going to work here. Racism is not allowed here, so you rarely find any racists here, they don't last very long when they show up.

The pound will recover, it's just a little bounce. Smoke and mirrors to make us all think that the wrong decision has been made.

I simply don't see the benefit of what we are going to end up with. Boris in charge, millions of pissed off people who thought immigration would stop, hasty trade deals just so the government can be seen to be doing something. That is my fear for the future and nobody seems to have a more optimistic few.

Anyone who did not see what is about to come must be a little disconnected from reality. I still see nobody here has come up with an answer to what will happen next?
 
Boris won't be in charge for long. He'll get stuck in a cupboard or something. (or a general election will be called and the Tories will be out) UKIP won't get in, Farage will be moist in anticipation but there's no way he'll ever run the country. These rush deals are a part of the smoke and mirrors bullshit that I've mentioned a few times before. Give it a year or so, shit will settle down, Vodophone and the like will have fucked off, paying us back BILLIONS in owed tax money, homegrown businesses will have taken their places and will be paying their staff better wages. It's going to be ok.

b) No one has come up with an answer to what happens next.
So we're all disconnected from reality then. Share with us, oh mighty prophet, what we may expect.

They will not call an election now. I have not heard anything in the media about rushed through trade deals. I just don't trust politicians not to try and use the timing of them to boost election chances. You have to bear in mind who is still in power.
 
Still only one person who has anything constructive to say about the end result of throwing your lot in with the most extreme right mainstream party. No offence

Was hoping to see that thread distancing the leave campaign from racist rhetoric. Honestly, as I need my faith in humanity restored.

Look around these boards, search for Farage, Johnson, Racism, Fascists. If you have even a cursory glance you'll see just how far and for how long posters around here have been removed, disgusted by and against racism and its promoters.
