urban Lib Dem voters! What do you think of what's going on?

The thread just proved that they'e not though.
The people I've been speaking to certainly seem to give the impression that they're more than a tad rueful for embracing The Clegg, but it'll be different for different folks.

I've certainly felt no compulsion to vote Lib Dem in the past, and the last few days make it even more unlikely.

You won't find much ruefulness on your boards.

I'm sure you have, but my general experience so far has been different.

That's cool. Irl you're experiencing them being 'rueful'. No worries. Irl, LibDems are rueful. They're so rueful that they're out on purple religiously organised Cleggathon protests lol.

They're getting narky nationaly, i've never seen a guilt-wave like it.

Quite. And your sample size is what?
Can't be arsed to argue the toss about whatever point it is you're trying to make here.

I've just posted up a few personal observations, that's all.

Sorry if it's not aligning with your argument, but there you go.

Some of your longterm (rl) posters got quite upset about that rueful/gloating aspect earlier. Some of us were talking to them about it for quite a while. You don't know what my argument is, and it doesn't seem like you know what their's is either. It'll cause some angst/postings though, so all's good.

I think people on here overestimate how much people give a shit.

The votes for the new Dorothy are more talked about now.

I didn't know what that Dorothy thread was about till this evening when I watched a bit later than Doctor Who. That really dark haired one looked/sounded the best.

editor is one of the most subtle trolls there's ever been on these boards. He's a master, we salute him. :p

I'm firmly convinced that editor will further set out his initial position on the 'rueful' aspect for the benefit of rl, longterm voters that got a bit upset earlier.

They might spare him the effort by saying that he doesn't need to.

One or more of them might come up front and repeat what they said earlier - but to what editor just said.

Unlikely.

I cant really see why I should feel ashamed or something to have voted for Lib Dem to attempt to stop the Tories gaining a seat in my area , I would have felt a lot worse if I had thrown my vote away on a party that was always going to come last or not voted at all .

But that's my area , I really cannot see why some of us that used our votes in such a way should now be expected to feel ashamed , maybe Ive missed something here but really cannot understand all the lib dem bashing considering the options some of us had

I may vote Tory next time to wind up the Urban wevolutionaries.
Especially the ones who didn't even vote.

Revolutions are no longer fought with guns and bombs. If they miss that sort of thing, may I suggest they go to Pakistan to learn how to do it properly.

Agree with your sentiment

However I made a mistake voting Tory this time round. I thought the doubty burghers of Dulwich would swing Tory, but it seems they swung more to Lib Dem.

Unfortunately Streatham Tories staged a full-blown Tory revival, enabling Chuka to comfortably coast home, streaking past the Lib Dems.

The best I can do now is campaign to re-zone Coldharbour into Streatham, and kiss Chuka's ring!

I wouldn't go within 10 miles of my current MP - the ghastly Tessa.
