Maybe it does have some relevance, but it's not immediately obvious, and it's up to you to make the case if you think there is one.
It's certain possible to argue a case for this sort of tabloid tactic being generally unwelcome without being a Tory sympathiser/voter, and if you really can't see that, says more about you than anyone who's argued that case.

Well quite; if they were trying to prove he was not safe in taxis one would think you would need an actual woman for that.
It is also a mystery to me why Guido is trying to pretend this wasnt entrapment either - it clearly was, and there is a clear public interest justification for doing what they did (albeit with the proviso that they should have got consent from the person whose photos were used first).

Guido is attempting to say that this bolsters their claim that he had a creepy reputation but it does nothing of the sort. As you say you'd need a woman or women to confirm that, and they don't seem about to roll a load of them out. There are far more questions than answers. If they had snagged Elphicke or Pritchard instead of Newmark, no doubt they'd be the ones with the supposedly sleazy histories.
