Things to look out for in Lidl and Aldi

As someone who has recently been quoted £70 to cut down a small tree, I would certainly be tempted.

Aldi have compressors back in (£80) but they don't have the stapler attachment. If I bought one from somewhere else, would it fit?

Soz, only just seen this, so probably too late. Most couplings are standardised, but even if not, you can usually find adaptors on ebay to couple up your compressor hose to your air tool.

Aldi are you a couple of pouched items, one is Mediterranean wheatberry and quinoa, the other is curried lentils (and chickpeas and rice). Both are utterly delicious, vegan*, and about £1-something. I add a little butter to each as I appreciate the salty greasiness. The former is good with a little feta.

*None of the ingredients are animal-based but neither proclaim they're suitable for vegans

Grim reaper pork sausages ...Aldi
Made with Carolina reaper chilies ...going to be a repeat buy , but not very often ..methinks (71% pork .. not too ..cheap shit sawdust filler .. got habanero ,jalapeno , and birds eye chili powder in it too)

.........just about the right level for heat for me....not too mental ...but enough for me to do a keanu ..."whoa ".... .......frying them was like someone set off a pepper spray in the distance .... that little cut at the back of the throat ....

flecks of red chili in the meat .....bit fatty .....had to cut them down the middle and put them back in the pan to reduce them a bit ......wrong I knows .

.. I like putting cider vinegar on sausages ..cut them down the middle to make a pocket and drip it in ... (99p in aldi too ..very nicea ) a hangover from my 'stow pie and mash days ...not that these need livening ....

Got these today too. Along with the ghost chilli burgers.

There’s slow cookers by salter in, which also work as a chalk board! For £20 if anyone is after a slow cooker by a decent brand that also acts as a bit of a gimmick.

That's always been a good standby, and usually very cheap, too. Nice vanilla-y notes.

My local Aldi have these reduced from £35 to £5 - sadly I can't justify buying one this side of moving house and needing to lighten my load ... :(

Four stainless steel straws plus a cleaning brush - £1.99.
I doubt I will ever use them for their intended purpose :)

I went in for wholegrain mustard and came out with books, sheets, cat toys, cat treats and socks! Damn them middle aisles.
I have to force myself to avoid them, and on the odd occassion i stray down i get my phone out or look in any direction other than those baskets
