Things to look out for in Lidl and Aldi

Aldi
Moser Roth 85% coca dark chocolate sour cherry /chilli

5 separately wrapped small bars in a pack...you can't eat much....anyways ..well rich..
As you eat it ...Dark chocolate taste at the start with sudden short sour cherry hit ......back to dark chocolate....finally a lingering chilli zing after the chocolate s gone .....definitely a repeat purchase

The chocolate is top darts just on its own........think it was £1.49

I have had several of these and can confirm they are lush

My other half never let's me buy the hams. I'm finding it harder to resist every time they have them in stock.

This is a really rather funky French red from Aldi.
When I opened the bottle I swear I was hit with attar of roses .. on subsequent days I got citrus .. perhaps Earl Grey.
Cheap as chips too.

I would like to have the thread title changed to include Iceland. Not because they thrashed Engerlad, but because it's come along way from Bejams.
Today for lunch I had flat breads 6 for£1 with Ghana dal, followed by cherry and almond loaf £1.25 from the English cake company.
Their deli range is ever improving as well as the puddings.
And you can nip in for 3 magnums at£1.50 a pack anytime.
What do you think urbs?

Thing about lidl and aldi is they have specials in - that's more what this thread is about.

Iberian week, Greek week, when they've got the wooden toys in or power tools etc :)
I get that biddlybee, it's just that out here in metroland we don't have a lidl or aldi on the doorstep

Definitely a case for a "shopping bargains" thread, but I think Biddlybee has a point about this being a place to flag up Lidl/Aldi "crazy crap" offers...

I went to the stockwell Lidl with my trolley ready to stock up on White Port and there wasn't any! ggrrrrrrrrrrrh. will have to try the Brixton one.

Fuck does any of this apply to Orkney lidl? It's a seven mile drive but it was worth it for the shoe rack i got that one time.
Check by putting the postcode (or the name) of that branch into the page with the deals of the week on it.
