The Republican Election Challenges

Irregularities of Georgia laid out:

And Rudy explains the alleged ‘smoking gun’ video evidence he describes as akin to a heist:

At the end of the video he urges Georgia’s legislators to do the patriotic thing (vote against the alleged corrupt Biden win) - which I doubt will happen as the fall out of that for them personally would be no doubt immense.

Fuck off and die

That’s actually old news, already been dealt with .

And to save you the trouble of clicking through, here’s the refutation from that last link:

No, there were no 'suitcases of ballots' counted in secret
The most viral claim from the hearing is a 90-second clip of surveillance footage from Fulton County's tabulation center set up at State Farm Arena. Culled from hours of vote counting, the short clip allegedly shows election workers bringing suitcases of ballots out from underneath a table to be counted in secret after Republican monitors were told to go home.

But that's not what was shown and the claims misunderstand the laws and rules around counting.

State and county officials, including investigators for the secretary of state's office, said that the video clip making the rounds show the normal tabulation process. No monitors were told to leave, but Republican monitors and members of the media left when some election employees called "cutters" wrapped up for the night.

Georgia law § 21-2-408 spells out the rules for partisan poll watchers, allowing them to be present and monitor aspects of the elections process. But having monitors there is not required — and in fact, Democrats did not have monitors present at that time.

As for the so-called suitcase full of ballots allegedly removed from under the table? It was empty, the state's investigator said.

"There wasn't a bin that had ballots in it under the table," Frances Watson told Lead Stories. "It was an empty bin and the ballots from it were actually out on the table when the media were still there, and then it was placed back into the box when the media were still there and placed next to the table."

Furthermore, elections officials say there was nothing abnormal about the tabulation of ballots shown on the video.

"What the video shows is that they have pulled out plastic bins from underneath the desks," Fulton elections director Rick Barron said Friday morning. "It was normal processing that occurred there, as Gabe Sterling from the state explained this morning."

Sterling, the state's voting system implementation manager, said that investigators for the state watched the full surveillance video from Election Day and said those bins of ballots were already there and accounted for earlier in the day, while both monitors and the media were there.

A monitor appointed by the state election board had also briefly left and returned at 11:52 p.m. and another state investigator was there starting at 12:15 a.m. The final ballots were scanned around 12:43 a.m.

So no ballots were illegally counted in secret, there was no "suitcase" of ballots being added into the totals.

That cctv footage from Georgia shows nothing out of the ordinary at all. If I was going to do a Giant Crime I'd probably not do it whilst being filmed.
The source of the video is none other than Ron Watkins, the son of the person thought most likely to be the mysterious prophet Q, it went straight into the veins of the qanon community and then got taken up by the fringes of the broader right & is now Rudy's favourite video.

sorry got as far as Rudy accusing people of being 'in the tank' which he says means they can be corrupted and can be bought...., and then advertising a cigar shop

This is the thing. For such a grand and grandiose scheme, the execution of it has been really second rate, shabby, piecemeal and amateur.

Driving shuttle buses across parking lots, lowly people using physical USB sticks, dumping boxes in drainage ditches, fogettting to hide from the cctv...

That's pretty normal for conspiracy theories isn't it. They normally require the conspirators to be simultaneously awesomely powerful and effective, and shambolically amateurish.

Am I right in thinking that despite all of the recounts and examination of ballots, the number of dodgy ones actually found hasn't even amounted to more than margin-of-error type figures?

You'd think that if there was a nationwide conspiracy to subvert the operation of US democracy, some evidence of such would have turned up by now.

Well, Trump certainly believes there is a conspiracy...

What strange times we are in.

Yeah but a whole lot of American are falling for it.

Trump has taken an 8 figure sum to fight what he's calling the crime of the century, his lawyer Rudi is billing him at $20,000 a day and still feels the need to splice in adverts for legal services and cigars whilst attempting trial by media.

Of interest to everyone, one would have thought.

If, and it's a big 'if', that report is correct, then that is a huge scale of fraudulent voting.

How do you know that? Looks like an uncoordinated bunch of the usual mishaps that occur during an election. There needs to be a comparison of the figures with those in previous elections in order to even begin to establish foul play.

Do you think that Trump doesn't believe that there is a conspiracy? That makes his behaviour even more bizarre.

Why because Trump never being a lying bullshitter who will say anything for media attention

its how he was elected in the first place

:hmm:

I did say 'if'. I didn't say, and don't say, that there is any merit in the claim.

A sample of 100 out of 28,000 proves nothing really.

No doubt one of our more stats orientated posters will correct me if necessary, but wouldn't you need a 50% sample?

Aye, the old saw about conning some of the people... is accurate.

Then again, the North of England voted for Johnson.

Strange times indeed.

the 3 count they preformed the election and the 2 recounts do prove its all a loads of ballocks

Of course he doesn’t.

He’s an opportunistic grifter with a grudge.

He’s a narcissistic con man who accidentally found himself in possession of a valuable asset.

He’s just playing out his game for as long as it will hold.

If you think he believes this bullshit, then he’s played you too.
