If we get up to Round 60, I'm getting in early for Gentleman Jim Corbett v Peter Jackson. No video survives, but I'll unearth some preliminary sketches.Too late, ffs. Rd 12 is next and it’s on you.
Yep. I think Whyte would have done better fighting Joshua again than Fury, but that route to a belt has gone. He'd have beaten Wilder imo, give or take avoiding the big right hand,I'd have done the same if I was him, absolutely.
Crack at the champ for bigger bucks.
IMO AJ will beat Usyk in the rematch, Fury will beat his mandatory in Whyte and Fury will then smash the big dosser AJ to pieces next summer/autumn.Fury needs a domestic fight next really. Since AJ shit the bed his options are limited really to Joyce or Whyte with both being very beatable but only the latter providing more bang for the buck, thereby making Fury look good. Fury beats either of them, then Usyk and providing AJ proves himself worthy of a shot, Fury can end his career by beating him.
I'm cut making a decision on this but I'd actually go for prime Mike Tyson early. Be some fight whilst it lasted tho'.I wonder what an at peak form Mike Tyson versus the current Tyson Fury would look like?
I just watched Mike Tyson versus Lennox Lewis.
While Tyson was well past his peak, Lewis dealt with him well and won a deserved KO in the end.
It was said Tyson peaked aged 19.
I enjoyed it, nice intensity. I had it close enough (could easily have had it 4-4) going into the 9th but Porter looked tired and it was only going to end one way.Did anyone watch Crawford v Porter? Crawford was sublime as ever, but I was impressed by Porter while it lasted. Only time I've seen a full fight of his was when he lost to Kell Brook and he was, from what I remember, little more than a threshing machine. Really mixed his tactics up this time and had a bit of success. Crawford is astonishing though.
I recorded it and got a 'this programme only part recorded' message, stopping before the Riakporhe fight.Did anyone catch the domestic card saturday? I thought it was full of some banging fights. We really are spoiled here on the domestic boxing front, we have a very vibrant scene right now. I especially liked Richard Riakporhe t'other night. Calm, composed and powerful with plenty left to come.
It was almost as if his dad was pulling him out to make a point, all a bit wtf. Also, he's now retired from boxing:I enjoyed it, nice intensity. I had it close enough (could easily have had it 4-4) going into the 9th but Porter looked tired and it was only going to end one way.
I did think Crawford was a notch off the usual sharpness but was pretty much always in control and I was very surprised Porter's corner stopped it when they did.
I don’t.Anyone have Dazn?
Its about £8 pm but worth it if you like the boxing.
Has a full card every Saturday night, here or in America or both. It just means I end up going to bed at 5am when a big fight is on like last night, which can muck your Sundays up a bit, depending
Yes, I asked this question some time ago. My money would be on Mike Tyson to win by KO...
question if Prime Tyson Fury would beat Prime Mike Tyson
..
