I need to pop out and get fish food but all local bus services have been suspended which in turn places increased demand on sherberts and Uber with the latter charging £16 for a journey thats usually a fiver.

I might just stay in tbf.

Went into work 🤔 the train from Clapton to Liverpool St took 43 minutes (usually does it in 12) as we were stopped outside Bethnal Green Station for about 30 minutes due to something on the track . Tube was OK , although some delays. Headed back at lunch-time as it was bound to get worse , and was greeted at Liverpool St by loads of cancellations , no trains were leaving at all. Got on the 1st bus that was going in the right direction . Walked home from Stoke Newington (about 15 minutes away) a massive branch had fallen on Evering Rd , narrowly missing some cars . I got hit by a twig (I am OK 👍)

More importantly, is the twig OK?

There's going to be a lot of exceptionally tired OHL technicians in the near future ...

At least the Western Power ones will not be working in the sort of snow that Arwen & Barra dumped in Scotland & NE England.

Where about on Evering Road?

Despite not even being in the Yellow zone, it has been rain, full-on snow, sleet and more rain here today and the wind has been getting stronger and stronger.

To the point where we have all been sent home from work.

So I got home to find another slate off the roof that will need fixed when the weather settles down. :(

Mrs Fish's middle girl managed to get a great date for an interview for a new job - tomorrow, in AVIEMORE. Guess which idiot said yes, that will make for a nice day out!

I'm now hoping they call her and cancel because no fucker can get there!
