Just went for a very short "walk" along seafront near mine. It's crazy out there, windows of houses and cars on the cliff top are getting blown in it's so strong. I got about 30 metres before being blown over and making a hasty retreat in-land.

Supposed to have 60-80mph winds here today. So far lots of rain and the short lived squall.

The amber warning covered half the country. The original red warning zone was in the south west, but later they added a second red zone that covers a big chunk of the south east including London.

I see the Isle of Wight has a provisional wind gust record of 122mph today.

I ve got two sofas and a chair outside waiting for collection next week, I hope they stay there and don't get blown all over the road. I can't take them back in, I had the window out to get the bastards onto the street in the first place.
