A new ferry route from Ireland to Europe has been announced as Ireland seeks to avoid the UK and massive delays in Kent. Apparently the USA is thinking about using an airbridge to Ireland as the gateway to Europe in preference to London. The financial sector is relocating to Frankfurt.

Think it was commented on another thread that trucks going to Ireland via Holyhead go straight through without even filling up between either ferry so would this bother the UK at all? Takes a small bit of pressure off Kent too. Or is this not a Brexit gotcha thread?
