Putin to put Russia under Martial Law?

Rumours doing the rounds on twiiter and Ukrainian Intel seem to suggest that Vladmir Putin could put Russia Under Martial Law as soon as tomorrow?

If he does do that what happen in Russia, how will the rest of the world react to him doing that and what happens next with the war?

The EU says it is seeing signs on social media that the Kremlin may be considering martial law. Also reported by Reuters in Telegraph so far.

If Russia is indeed entering financial meltdown and the anti-war movement is picking up pace, I could see Putin becoming paranoid. Still seems to be rumours, but plausible.
