He has a ticket that includes events so he should get a Travelcard. The only ones that don't are the £5 Park Passes which only give access to the Park and no events.
It says spectators with tickets to "events", to me that includes Day Passes. I see no reason why it shouldn't. It's just that instead of paying to see one sport you've paid to see lots of them.Oh right. Doesn't make that very clear though does it. I got the impression you have to buy a ticket for a particular venue, rather than a general admission ticket.

Apparently if you show your P@H ticket at a Tube station on the day of your event you can travel without having the Games Travelcard in you possession.
I might have gone for more - maybe something like wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis or maybe swimming, BUT......I have no money left....AND....I'm away for most of next week. Having said that what I have got (for both Games) isn't bad, especially considering I thought my chance was gone when I missed out in the original ballot, and when they did release more tickets I thought I'd only go to one event.i'm going to:
wheelchair basketball x 2
wheelchair rugby
goal ball
rowing
athletics
swimming
i have an excel day pass too.
i think i may have got carried away
I found out what the situation is with the 200 metre race on Saturday. You've got Round 1 Heat 1 at 20:22, Round 1 Heat 2 at 20:29 and Round 1 Heat 3 at 20:36; so three different races on the same day. It says so in the official app. I don't know if the website says anything as I haven't looked.
Looks like I'm going to get to see Mr Pistorius do his stuff.

Sometimes it says they are available, but it's a few seconds before they appear as available on the website itself. I had that. The other issue could be that they are simply sold before you can get through to someone on the phone.Bungle
I don't like your alert website. It's saying tickets are available and I've just rung them and they've said they're not.
However, same woman also didn't realise such a thing as the Olympic Park pass existed

You can enter the Park whenever you like as far as I can tell. The Stadium itself opens about 2 hours prior to the event. The advice for Stadium events is to get there about two and a half hours before-hand, but I found the times very generous when I went.Woo hoo! Confirmation email arrived. Got athletics!
Now, that doesn't start 'til 7.00pm. Has anyone found out if you can enter park before your session?

Which session have you got?
I'm confused by train timetables for getting back home after the Closing Ceremony!
Southeasten's Paralympic Timetable: last train back 23:33
National Rail Enquires & SE's Journey Planner: 23:33 train to Ebbsfleet followed by long replacement bus journey; last train back 00:53
My daughter is there now, as is my husband (he's there as a musician). He got one free ticket and we decided she deserved it most. She's the one that goes clothes shopping with him, accompanies him to hospital appointments etc.
