We were in the stadium and you would have thought that Blake had won a gold on his lap on honour. He got a standing ovation.I was enthralled with the Paralympics last night. I'm surprised that I'm enjoying it as much (if not more) than the Olympics. There have been so many moving and inspirational moments.
Last night, I particularly enjoyed the pure pride and glee that Paul Blake expressed wen he won a silver medal. Also, I was really moved by Matt Walker's bronze medal celebration, and his post-race interview had me welling up. Awesome athletes.
