No idea re trains but tubes are running till about 0230 during the games

I believe they are running a similar service as the Olympics which will mean trains until about 2am, they also have standby trains at the mainline stations to run if needed.

I need to get back to Sittingbourne though. We seem to be second class citizens as far as SE's Javelin service is concerned. They cancelled all direct trains completely during certain Olympics nights so I had to get home by travelling into central London and going via Victoria.

That was pretty good I thought,I wouldn't mind if they dumped the running,jumping and throwing things bit and concentrated on the imaginative bits.
