Paralympics Opening Ceremony

I like the girls carrying the country names that their dresses are made in the colour of each countries flags.

This is quite good. Liked the Algerian pulling the fingers at the camera and C4's slightly shambolic coverage. And Benin.

Krishnan what his name is getting on my nerves but the American sounding guy seems to know what he's talking about.

I like how we don't have to put up with everything in French as well because it's the Paralympics and not the Olympics :D

The opening with the big bang was spectacular, very enjoyable entertainment. Seemed very short but there are a lot of countries to get through...and it's a school night!

Where's Krishnan gone. Now we have Jon Snow describing politics of the countries rather than the athletes.

The ladies from Denmark had lovely cardies on

Anyway, we're now in The Albert watching thanks to Badgers texting me with important TV fixing updates :)

That Jon Snow (who's obsessed with Boccia) just couldn't stop interrupting people on his 1/2 hour show all last week. He irritates me

Loving the volunteer dancers welcoming the athletes in, they're gonna be knackered by time everyone's in.

He doesn't seem to know anything about the athletes. He just keeps saying "now here is another country affected by war etc"

Well that's probably shorthand for "lots of amputees here after having got blown up, shot at, stepped on a mine"

He's just repeating himself. Sounds like he's reading the news. It would be more interesting if they pointed out what some of the athletes competed in.
