Milo Yiannoupoulis banned!

people might like you more if you chilled out and wasnt so fundie
how do you think i'm fundie?

I think my posting history on here speaks for itself; I've been respectful and relevant. I don't claim to be the smartest guy, but I sure as fuck am not the stupidest.

I'm not chilling out about this because it's a big deal to me. Not being able to see that is par tof the problem

I'm here now, and if people have a problem with me then I invite them to grow up and address it. All that's happening is passive aggressive crap and it's spoiling my participation in this community.

But then that's the point, isn't it.
i am not being passively aggressive. i am not in bristol and it is a quarter of a century since i was in the acf as was. you seem to think this issue more important that it seems to be to me: what i have found more important than membership of e.g. the af or class war or whatnot are personal relationships with people, no matter the group they're in. instead of pursuing a membership application for any group i think you should consider simply working with people from a range of organisations, as i suspect you would find it stifling to be a member of a national group and would not be surprised if you were but briefly a member.

Again: what should it be then? A place where a clique dominates the discussion and marginalises anyone they don't like for reasons they may or may noit be able to justify?

If that's the case just let me know and you have my permission to ban me because I wouldn't want to be tempted back into participating in an environment where I know i'm going to be marginalised.
sadly i have never been given the power to ban, though i yet have hopes editor may see reason in the future.

I'm not accusing you of passive aggressive behaviour. I'm accusing butchersapron. He has refused to engage in a manner congruent with his claims (and yours) that he helped create Hydra books.

Of course it's more important to me than you, that's a statement of the obvious. If you don't understand why at this point then I'm not sure there's anything further to discuss.

I have not decided whether to get involved with afed or solfed. I have said that I am considering it and that i they associate with people I dislike then I would refuse. That's it. For some membership will be a positive thing, not so for others. If I join and it doesn't work out then that's on me. It's not really relevant to this discussion though, is it.

I don't think there's a clique, there are however long term posters who have been around longer than you (this time) and they are already an established community.

You cant just move onto the street and expect an invite to the Saturday night key party straight away.

Oh I wouldn't worry, I'm sure that, having read what I posted about being banned, someone will just ban me before the day is out anyway, without bothering to discuss the issue first. I find that sad, but that's how these things work.

I don't expect any such thing. I simply expect to be treated with some basic courtesy, especially given that I have not been rude or abusive or disruptive.

Will going for a walk address the behaviour of those involved?

yer whining about others being childish, look at yourself, you could attempt to sort shit out with butchers via pm like adults...

No, the 10am Sunday morning slot.

He's also often on sky news

That'll be the Katy Hopkins show...

I watched some stuff on YT last night. The anti SJW lot all seem to have that sneery smug sarcastic tone that generally makes the utterer so punchable. The slogan screeching lot were also dickheads.

I think I'm just using different parts of the net to these obsessives. Not being a US student helps too.

She's the one person i've never seen on these shows.

Hopkins is on LBC 10 Am Sunday. Nigel Ferage stood in for her for a while.

Apparently my tolerance for the Archers has improved.

An ex poster who was proper photographer used to (quite understandably) give new people a hard time when they wouldn't listen to his advice and decided instead (more rarely understandably) that their opinion on photography was just as valid as his despite his years' of actually doing it.

The conversation fairly rapidly descended into abuse. What they didn't seem to realize was that he'd gone through the exact same point that they were arguing with him on dozens of times. What he didn't seem to realize that he'd never been through that point with that particular person before.

That's not really comparable though. Discussing something that has been hashed out before possibly ad nauseum is not the case here.
