Milk's impact on the planet dairy, soya, rice, oat and almond compared

You are a very angry and deluded man. I really cannot fathom why other people's diets enrage you so. no one's coming to take your bottle away, so quit squealing.
Nobody's diet enrages me. It's the vegans and vegan wannabees who seem to have a problem with what other people eat and drink.

There are a couple or three raging finger pointers here. Fortunately, I'm not one of them.

editor: Do you honestly believe your (negative) impact on the planet is lower than mine? I can prove, beyond doubt that it isn't. So if you want to get into this debate, let's go!

How do you measure negative impact? :hmm:

Editor already starts from a good place because he lives in a block of flats in a big city. v environmentally friendly way to live, that.
It's not really on disclosing such personal detail in a thread about milk, you know. I'm not even sure what your point is.

You asked me to name the farm that is close to where I live...anyone looking it up has a fair idea where I live. Are you seriously saying that mention of a block of flats somewhere in a Britain is worse?

Ok. I apologise. I assumed you would be ok with it given that you post about it.

My point is a perfectly straightforward one. If you want to reduce your environmental impact on the planet, moving to a city and living in a block of flats is a good start.

I'd have guessed at C02 as as good a measure as any of negative impact - how have you measured yours?
I tend to compare mine to people who fly and use other forms of transport that create CO2. I can guarantee that each year, the U75 server alone creates more CO2 emissions than I do per year. Then, if you'd like to take flights into account? (I don't fly) And all of my food comes from within 8 miles of where I live.

London! I didn't mention that it was london.

You didn't have to respond, and you didn't. I had no choice about my details being posted up.

You guarantee that do you? I assume you don't own a car or any form of motorised transport, yes? And what powers your electricity and gas? Such a daft and pointless claim to make...

Well.....if you're someone who does use milk this thread makes you feel like you're a wrongun...

Only if you're reading the thread and think it's all about real life instead of utopia.

It isn't the thread that makes you feel like a wrong-un. It's the hypocritical preaching.
