Lying Tory twat Lee Anderson fails miserably to spread fake news with backfiring interview

I would say that's impossible, he would need to be allowed back into the Tory party first, then he would need to win a by-election, and finally he would have to be in the Tory MPs' final two choices to put to the membership.

That's never going to happen 'within a couple of years'.

The party members would love him. And there's plenty of MPs who are happy to be seen at events with him.

Sunak will be gone this year and I can see the right wingers within the partliamentary party wrangling a way to get Farage into a safe seat and onto the leadership ballot

Regurgitate?
I’ve narrowed it down to these:
◦ Recoil
◦ Repulse
◦ Revile
◦ Reggae
◦ Regret
◦ Relieve
◦ Relish
◦ Reject
◦ Repair
◦ Rehash
◦ Rebuff
◦ Remand
◦ Reverb
◦ Rewind
◦ Retrial
◦ Resign
◦ Respawn
◦ Regret
◦ Redact
◦ Repay
◦ Rectum
◦ Refund
◦ Regress

You could put all of these promises on the manifesto and then change to Renege.

Sunak will be gone post election. At that point I'd expect one of the current bunch of Tory rightwing headbangers will get the leadership and I doubt whoever that is will be keen on either promoting Farage as their replacement or standing aside so he can take over.

Farage doesn't work well with rivals in any leadership role. These potential allies know this.

Farage is also a bit of a marmite character amongst Tory MPs, a few of the headbangers love him, most hate him, after fighting against him over so many years.

If the polls continue as they are, there's going to be so few Tory MPs after the GE anyway, the number of headbangers much reduced, even the likes of Mogg looks like he'll lose his seat, so I just don't see anyway of him ending up as Tory leader.

The tory membership are increasingly dominated by rabid gammons. The next leader will reflect that. If he can get a seat at the next election, Farage would be a definite contender alongside bad Enoch and cruella.

The next election as in the one late this year early next? There's no prospect of that is there that I can see.

The Frog Lord is a sort of diluted version of Donald Trump with the added advantage of being literate. Farage is all about Farage, he craves the spotlight. He isn't going to join the Tories as a backbencher, he is going to want the leadership pretty much from the off and he is isn't going to get it.

The stars lined up for farage around Brexit, but he's pretty unpopular amongst voters. The only move to bring him in would be from the loonocracy who, as mentioned, have their own favourites already.

Having said that, judging what they would do after a landslide is difficult.

speculation he might try and win a seat for refuk - possibly clacton (most brexity place in the uk - and where i grew up). hed have to then "answer the call" to "save" the post defeat tory rump - and join the tory party as a sitting mp (or refuk merges with the torys) . Bit convaluted but not imppossible. But post defeat the tories will likely go full gamon .

Reform will be delighted. Anderson has a lot of support among large swathes of disaffected Tories/morons. In terms of actual consequences, hopefully it'll just further splinter the Tory vote.
