With exception of Bexley, the correlation is pretty obvious

Why did you buy something he wanted?I bought a handbag with the proceeds. It’s what Ed would have wanted.
1% interest on an investment in just a day isn't too bad. It's the equivalent of 365% annually, isn't it?In other words, not worth a punt. But if Binface wins, it's 1000/1 so worth a quid for a potential grand return
You rarely see a poor bookies, besides some high streets are littered with them.Bookies are also gambling innit
Yes, because they hedge all of their bets, unlike the puntersYou rarely see a poor bookies, besides some high streets are littered with them.
Could you imagine what it would mean for us if bucket head or the person from the animal liberation front became mayor. There is a small, dangerous part of me that would quite enjoy one of the absolute no-hopers winning, just to watch reality crash down on them in the Trussian clusterfuck that would follow.
Except, y'know, it would also be really bad for an awful lot of people.
Probably not all that much tbfCould you imagine what it would mean for us if bucket head or the person from the animal liberation front became mayor.

Well, having literally just returned from voting for the former, I'm counting on Kahn's projected dominance to render it the meaningless protest vote I intended it to be.Could you imagine what it would mean for us if bucket head or the person from the animal liberation front became mayor.
It does say that on the voting papers unfortunatelyI didn't get to vote. I hadn't managed to send in my postal vote, so went in in person (had to take my daughter anyway) and they said I couldn't change to an in-person vote because it was after 5pm. None of the govt websites mentioned that. Still, at least it's better than last time when they claimed I had to go to the town hall to do it.
If Khan loses by one vote, I'll know who to blame!

ETA from what i can tell, you can hand in your postal vote up until 10pm, but you can only switch to voting in person before 5pm.I remember reading it on mine somewhere.
What i did neglect, however, was to put the slip in the envelope the right way round. I then sealed it before noticing the address didn’t show in the window. So I had to rip open the envelope, flip the papers around, then reseal the envelope. So there’s a good chance my vote won’t be counted.

It’s not very clear though and should be made much clearer.
It says you can hand it in till 10pm. They were wrong.
I think then that the officers thought you were trying to vote in person ie tick the box in a voting booth, rather than hand in your postal vote. So if even officers are unclear about the rules, then the rules need to be made clearer.Voting in person is using the postal vote. It's basically just handing your vote in and filling in a form about it.
You could only cancel your postal vote up until April 17th. But I wasn't asking to do that.
I'm not misreading, you know. I was eligible to vote and the polling officers got it wrong.
Maybe your postal vote said something different somehow, but mine is very clear, and it's not like I photoshopped it.

I can, but it’s tempered by the knowledge that many less arrogant, poorer folk without photo ID, won’t even have bothered to turn up to the polling station.i just cant bring myself to see the funny side on this one - what a cunt he is
i get why its funny, its fine to find it funny, im just too angry about it - he's such a fucking danger to the world, from peace in ukraine to voter suppression, he just poisons every thingthe cunt who brought in the voter id legislation
getting turn away from voting because he did not bring any.. more than likely thought iln British fucking Johnson
what is not funny about it
This and Tom Hunt also getting turned away has made me laugh out loud. It’s the delicious irony of bringing in a law to disenfranchise the poor, the young and the ignorant, only to disenfranchise entitled nitwits who never ever think laws could ever possibly apply to themselves but soon fuck around and find out.i just cant bring myself to see the funny side on this one - what a cunt he is
