Living off the land 100%

I am not leeching off the poor. I do not have assets in another country. Once again, you are proving to be a very sad, pathetic little lying cunt.

Have I ever posted any defamatory comment about you here (other than replying to your abusive lies)?

It is not cheap here. I said exactly the opposite. Best bed deal I can find is €35/night. Call that €1000/month compared to an average take home pay of €700.

FFS, if some guy wants to give me a leek that would sell for 50 Cents at the market I will accept. I offer a €uro, and they adamantly refuse.

What exactly is your problem? Like others here, you are making yourself look like a total twat. Perhaps you are. Is this your problem? Do have confidence issues, and insecurity problems?

Thats the spirit Stanners. If you think it it baseless and a slur, then I apologise wholeheartedly.

I'd be interested how that fish was caught btw, without a rod and line. It was only the lime that hadn't met the criteria IIRC.

Straight from the sea, as claimed? Or caught by someone else and donated/sold/swapped?

I bought a new telescopic rod. Just €25 complete with reel and box of all necessary accessories. Have only used once. Think it is a lucky rod.

Surprised you didn't mention that; I'd have thought that was quite a fun and interesting experience.

I mentioned it. Gave the first one away, because it was too much hassle to carry. Posted a link to Decathlon and Gentlegreen gave a bit of advice. When I went to the next Decathlon, they had a deal on a perfect starter rod. Good size to carry on the side of my backpack.

I love fishing just as an excuse to stay out most of the night with mates drinking and smoking. This is the first time I have actually sea fished with any real intent to catch. Think I was very lucky. An interesting experience possibly, but I have many, many hours under my belt, so not a first experience by any stretch.

I am not new to any of this other than being on new soils. I grew up on a small manufacturing dairy farm on the Welsh borders, so learned loads of countryside and farming stuff as my parents were learning it. Also have a wealth of experience in other areas that is proving useful.

I fully intend to 'steal' crops. There is an old by-law here which states anyone can help themselves to any crops growing in the countryside if it is for personal consumption - a couple of onions etc is fine. Of course, not all farmers will respect this forgotten law. I also intend to steal eggs and chickens  I will not raid fields full of asparagus by night which is big business in Spain these days. Farmers are having to employ night security in some areas.

It's the Carob harvesting season at the moment if Stan wants to experience what it's like to live off the land . Hours of banging long poles into trees to knock them off and then putting them into sacks to sell for a 3/4 euros.
stan's notion of living off the land would be lounging in a hammock for lots of euros while other people bashed the trees for 3/4 euros
