Living off the land 100%

Why don't you put him on ignore? I've got three of the biggest dickheads on here on ignore and since I did the boards are infitely better.

Yeah, definitely - the ignore function is much underused. It's good to get some posters out of your face, even if just temporarily. I'm not saying Pickman's is a bad person, but I don't think I've read a single thread on this board where he hasn't had to comment. So maybe it's that rather than him stalking Stan particularly?

What on earth do you do that results in people 'regularly' coming at you with broken bottles, and the police beating you up?

At a guess, the fact that he spends most of his time on the streets. I've visited him a few times in Ibiza when there have been dodgy characters milling about (not just me :D ).

You should read more widely then as there's fuck loads of threads I never read let alone post on

I lived there for nine months, in a squat, surrounded by San An's relatively small population of heroin dependent squatters, and maintaining complex relationships with assorted Mancunian and Scouse mass-importation-of-drug gangs who were (by the end of the 9 months) sort of at war with one another.

In that time, I somehow managed to have zero (0) broken bottles waved in my face.

I'm not convinced that the island is to blame for Stan's face being a bottlemagnet.

I think you're right. He was coming across as stalky to me a while ago so bang, banned. I can't see his posts obviously but I gather he's doing his creepy little stalker man thing to poor old Stan too. And everyone else.

yeh. you lying little shit: you said i was a troll and chucked me on ignore, as anyone can via search. all this stalky bollocks is you've not mentioned before.

e2a: not that *you* can see it, simply pointing out your mendacity for everyone else.

You are a stupid little twat. My life is my life. I love the way I live. Many people love the way I live.

My life is not the way you are trying to portray it as being in this thread. You take snippits from what I have written, and put a new emphasis on those, you can post photographs from all over the web which have fuck all to do with my life, you can use pictures of homeless people as insults, you can do whatever you like, but don't expect me not to reply and point out what a vile, insecure, jealous idiot you are.

OK?
:D

Calm down, dear!

Depends on your luck. I remember sitting in a bar in Malaga with Stan and another friend, and some guy walking around off his tits and shouting at people. Stan was one of those telling him to shoo. Not hard to see how such situations can escalate.

Nothing scares me mate. Nothing. I regularly have to deal with crazy people thrusting broken bottles towards my face, and other similar situations. I have been beaten by police more than once. I can take it all. If I have to, I am willing to take the biggest fight. Especially if people I care about are in danger.

I have many friends for many reasons. One reason being that they feel safe in my company. They know I am a very effective, and fair peace keeper.

I have many friends, real friends, long term friends all over the World.

It's really quite uncanny.

I believe "self-aggrandizing" is the appropriate adjective.

Leeching off the poor when you have assets in another country is not better than the fund my holiday twattery posted elsewhere. Time and time again you say how low wages are here and how cheap it is, yet are happy to boast of having stuff away from a plot without any kind of moral angst. Needs, yes, Lifestyle choice, no

patronising paternalistic neo colonial mindset. Typical entitled hippy.

I am not leeching off the poor. I do not have assets in another country. Once again, you are proving to be a very sad, pathetic little lying cunt.

Have I ever posted any defamatory comment about you here (other than replying to your abusive lies)?

It is not cheap here. I said exactly the opposite. Best bed deal I can find is €35/night. Call that €1000/month compared to an average take home pay of €700.

FFS, if some guy wants to give me a leek that would sell for 50 Cents at the market I will accept. I offer a €uro, and they adamantly refuse.

What exactly is your problem? Like others here, you are making yourself look like a total twat. Perhaps you are. Is this your problem? Do have confidence issues, and insecurity problems?

What percentage are you living off the land Stan?

What do you think it is about your face that makes it so attractive to thrusting broken bottles 'and other similar situations', Stan?

I work on the streets of European cities. Many guys with serious mental health problems. Most are only dangerous to themselves. Very sad to see how many die. But, some are most definitely a danger to society. It isn't just the guys. Some strange women just ran at me with knife once. Tried to plunge it into my throat. After stopping her and calming her down she tried to tell police I was her ex boyfriend and had stolen stuff from her. Never seen her before in my life. Thankfully, the police guy new me from a different city. They just let her go on her merry way!

Presumably, most locals seeking accommodation in Portugal don't pay nightly hotel rates.

Of course not. Many can't even afford rent. That is why there are so many squats here. Loads and loads of empty places.

I would normally find a pension for less than €18/night, but it is August. I don't do backpackers anymore. Too many shit experiences, and I feel far too old for them. I would sooner camp on the beach. It is very nice. Swim and shower in the morning before heading to town to work.

Off to find some electric to charge everything. Should be using solar I guess. You lot are such idiots. What the fuck ever made you think I was going to do wilderness survival on the Atlantic coast of Portugal in summer. There is so much free food to pick here. Loads of it.

I'm collecting paper bags for collecting herbs and drying them in my backpack. Also looking for aloe vera to avoid another chemist purchase.

... and being nomadic!

This is something I have always wanted to try, and I am certain it is possible.

I am about to start walking north to south through Portugal. The only things I intend to spend money on are tobacco, booze and emergencies. I am taking work materials (pens and sketch pad) and a single change of clothes as essentials. I will also buy a fishing rod (and tackle), a pot of dried chilis, bag of limes (I never use salt - lime juice is a very good alternative) and a cooking pot.

I have my laptop with shitty webcam for photos for fun.

My plan is to harvest as I walk and fish for fish in the evening. I am going to try living off the land 100% for food as I travel :) I have fair knowledge for such a life but, expect (and, hope) to learn fucking shit loads as I go from local people who know best.

Camping out with no tent - proper vagabonding it :) :) :)

I shall update here whenever I find WiFi. Please ask questions as I travel. Good questions! Give advice also - I will surely need it. Anyone with good fish ID skills will be blessed forever.

I expect to find plenty of fruit and vegetables (cultivated and wild), and lots of herbs and stuffs.

Leaving tomorrow. I am so excited and full of trepidation. This is going to be a very fun thread people. I hope we all enjoy it.

Initially moving upstream along the river Douro, then heading towards the coast looking for a walking route known as 'Sendo Litoral', but totally open minded on paths and time.

:D
