I'm listening to this too. Really shook up. Sounds awful. :(

Speaking of which Matthew Bannister on R5 just suggested that this might be the work of G8 protesters....

fer gawds sake ...

fucking awful, this.

i'm in canary wharf, speculation we'll be evacuated but tbh it makes more sense to me to keep us all in here, since this doesn't seem to be targetted at buildings.

I was meant to be in central London early this morning returning a 24 hour cardiac tape to the middlesex hospital

I stayed up working till 3 and woke up late or I'd be right in the middle of all this, possibly on the bus that blew up in Russel Square

I just phoned the hosptial and they said "we're on red alert - don't bother bringing it in today"

sitting here crying and shaking

Bomb alert at work. Just been asked to close all blinds. Hands are shaking. Worrid about my girlfriend.

Where abouts you working, mate? Me = 5 mins walk from Liverpool Street.

Jesus this is terrifying. Sitting here at work in Baker street on the verge of tears. My thoughts are with all those in the middle of this - think I missed it by minutes.

It's highly likely the people you're worried about and can't contact are all OK. Stay calm and wait til the mobile networks clear a bit.

Last thing I heard on the BBC news this morning was about a 'feel good factor' today after the Olympic win.

Yeah right. :(

Causalties being transported by bus to local hospitals

Eyewitness on tube train tells Sky 'Explosion occured on front of tube train which caused a derailment, passengers were evacuated through the rear exits of the train'

Hospitals on standard incident alert procedures

mrs21 just rang...she left london before all this happened, probably 10 or 20 minutes before...she heard various rumours when she was on the train..but now she seems to be stuck in peterborough, so i might have to drive there to pick her up

I certainly hope so.

(((everyone)))

We are waiting to see if Pig has to go in, they are really stretched as 2000 of them are up at G8. I will have to try to drive him in as far as possible if they ask him to go.
