Is Elon Musk the greatest visionary or the greatest snake oil salesman of our age?

Why is he so obsessed with Britain? Genuine question.

I mean, he's supposed to be the richest man on earth, now also fully embedded with the Trump administration with a whole branch of government to run. Britain isn't even a major power so wtf is all his obsessing about Rotherham rape gangs and Starmer all about. It can't believe this is just some sentiment over his Nana.

He’s posting 24/7 so he can see and read British Twitter and he can’t understand anything else so he just repeats the racist shit he absorbs

Everyone else in America is asleep he’s studying FUCKSPUNK88 talking points and saying “interesting”

This is where the idea of less information is often better than endless information has some legs. He’s brain is likely being zapped with “killer takes” over and over. My music friend says this, he says he gets his best ideas not when he’s listening to music, but when he’s silently walking his dog. People often forget how fruitful thinking, not reading and absorbing, can be. But the brain needs space to do that. Musk just comes across as a layabout hooked up to a dopamine drip.

Thanks for reminding me of this. It’s a lesson I could learn myself. Tis a very ADHD thing.

try a walk with no input. No podcast. No music. it's how i got over a extremely painful divorce. The brain takes on its own life and, if you were like me, things start to get sorted through. happens entirely by itself, no real action required.

Aye, I do that in the woods of my local park. can sometimes just sit there for half an hour, just absorbing calm.
I don't do it enough though!

Totally this. I walk the dog at 0615 every day, yesterday, first day back at work in >2 weeks, pitch black, pissing down with rain, cold, was still a nice walk. Really don't get others I see walking their dogs with headphones on or staring at their phones, seems like a total waste of a good time to reset the noggin.
